Hazzouri Cosmetic, Implant & Family Dentistry was established in 1949 by Dr. Albert A. Hazzouri Sr. Since then, the name Hazzouri has become a household word among Scranton and Northeast Pennsylvania-area residents, synonymous with the very best in dental care and affordability.
Following in his father’s footsteps, his son has become an outstanding cosmetic dentist in the Scranton Wilkes/Barre area. Dr. Albert A. Dr. Albert A. Hazzouri Jr., graduated from Scranton Preparatory School 1974, received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 1978 from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York, and his Master of Science in Biochemistry in 1980 from the University of Scranton.
Dr. Hazzouri went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1984 at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia.
In order to remain a top cosmetic dentist in Northeast Pennsylvania, Dr. Hazzouri continued learning the very latest techniques at some of the best dental schools in the country.

- 1987-89 – Fellowship in dental implantology, Misch Implant Institute
- 1996-98 – Graduate studies, Pankey Institute of Advanced Dentistry
Dr. Hazzouri is a diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Society of Osseointegration, and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Society, and the Scranton Dental Society.
The doctor has also been honored by his peers with memberships in the Periodontal Honor Society, the Endodontology Honor Society, the Oral Surgery Honor Society, and the St. George Oral Cancer Society.
In pursuit of service to his community, Dr. Hazzouri is a board member of the St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen, the American Cancer Society, and the Scranton Tomorrow Committee.
The honor Dr. Hazzouri is most proud of is one he shares with his father: the tens of thousands of Northeastern Pennsylvanians who wouldn’t trust their smiles to anyone else.
