Dental Implant Financing at Hazzouri Dental: How CareCredit Works

Dental Implant Financing in Scranton, PA | Free Implant Consults

Many patients are excited that mini implants cost about half as much as conventional dental implants. Still, at Hazzouri Dental, we understand that mini implants are a significant investment in your health. We want you to know how dental implant financing can help you smile sooner. We partner with CareCredit, a healthcare credit card patients can use to finance dental implants.

Since we opened our doors 77 years ago in downtown Scranton, Hazzouri Dental has stood the test of time because we put our patients first. We believe cost shouldn’t be a barrier to a complete smile. That’s why we want you to understand how financing can help you achieve the smile of your dreams.

What Is Dental Implant Financing?

Dental Implant Financing in Scranton, PA | Free Implant ConsultsWhen the cost of care is holding you back from choosing dental implants, financing can make all the difference. Dental implant financing lets you pay for implant treatment over time instead of in one lump sum. Treatment costs vary depending on your specific needs and the services included in your treatment plan.

After one of our dentists evaluates your situation at a free consultation, we’ll break down how much your treatment will cost. Then, our front office staff can apply your insurance benefits wherever possible. Dental insurance coverage for implants varies by plan. Even if a plan doesn’t cover the implant itself, it may cover related services, such as extractions or the crown, bridge, or denture secured on top.

After we apply insurance to your bill, you have to cover the remaining balance. That’s where financing comes in.

Our practice partners with CareCredit, which is a healthcare credit card. You’ll apply for the credit card. If you’re approved, you can use it to pay for dental implant treatment at our office.

Once you’re approved, you’ll use the credit card to pay our office up front and start the treatment process right away. Then, you’ll pay it off in smaller monthly installments based on your account terms.

It’s that simple to use financing to access your dental implants.

CareCredit for Dental Implants

What do you need to know about how CareCredit works before you apply? First, checking whether you prequalify for CareCredit uses a soft inquiry, which won’t affect your credit score. Keep in mind that prequalifying doesn’t guarantee approval if you apply. If you choose to move forward and accept an offer, you can apply online, which may result in a hard inquiry on your credit report.

In some cases, you may receive a promotional financing offer, which is actually deferred-interest financing. You might hear language like, “no interest if paid in full within 12 months.”  This means that if you don’t pay off the promotional balance within the agreed-upon time (12 months, in this case), interest will be charged to your account from the original purchase date. You must make minimum monthly payments, and the minimum payment may not be enough to pay off the promotional balance before the deadline.

Also, review your agreement for details on late payments. CareCredit says late payments do not void promotional financing offers, but it may apply a late fee. Review your agreement for the terms that apply to your account.

Before accepting an offer, review the promotional period, the required monthly payment, and the terms that apply if a balance remains when the promotional period ends.

CareCredit is helpful for many patients. To get the most out of your financing, make sure you know what you’re signing up for. Carefully review all the details of your agreement. Make sure you understand when you should pay off the balance to avoid surprise interest charges.
