Hi, I’m Dr. Albert Hazzouri Jr. I’m a dentist in Scranton at the Institute for Dental and Facial Esthetics, a practice started in 1949 by my father, Dr. Albert Hazzouri Sr.

We have been located in downtown Scranton for 77 years and have served our community with two simple beliefs: with the finest care, any smile can be beautiful, and everyone should be able to afford a beautiful smile.

In 1949, my dad opened his office in the former Medical Arts Building as a one-man operation. By that, I mean he was the dentist, dental assistant, dental hygienist, receptionist, and accounts receivable person. After 15 or 20 years, he finally began to bring on additional staff. One staff member, Barbara, who was his dental assistant, is still with us after 50 years. Over time, we have grown into one of the largest practices in northeastern Pennsylvania.

I have been practicing for 41 years alongside Dr. Louis A. Genello. Over the years, we have both enjoyed creating beautiful smiles and taking care of our patients. It is rewarding every day to see our patients smile, whether they are visiting for a routine dental cleaning, cosmetic work, or implant dentistry.
